Interested in gardening but don't have the space or sun? Members of Fairfax Volunteers oversee the community garden plots behind the Fairfax Library.

As of October 2006 there are no plots available in the Community Garden, however we do keep a waiting list. The best times to check in for a plot are February through April.

The Fairfax Volunteers is a town-sponsored group whose mission is to foster good will in the Town of Fairfax through implementation of a Volunteer Program that will meet Town and community needs. The Fairfax Volunteers Program Advisory Board Members are: John Reed, Scott Valentino, Holly Dines, Michael Branton, Melanie Peratis, & Anya Schandler. The Advisory Board meets the fourth Monday of every month at 7:00pm at the Fairfax Community Center (check Town bulletin board for changes).
